DOCTOR WHO FANATICS! POST HERE!

Hey CS users! You may have seen me around the forums before. I used to be BashirDataChekov, which was when I was obssesed with Star Trek . As you can see, my latest discovery is the amazing British sci-fi show Doctor Who! As of now, I have only seen episodes with Matt Smith in them because those are the episodes currently on BBC. I have seen every episode in the first season he showed up in, and some of his second season. I really hope to have some discussions about this epic show with other CS users! Cheers!

I'm a classic Who fan- the new series just can't compare. The old series was more about science, weirdness and action. The new one is just drama and the Doctor having random love interests that don't make sense. -_-

I personally watched both and i agree that the newer seasons are more dramatic but my favorite doctor would have to be DAvid Tennant. I like Matt but I just laugh more with David; he's just funny- especially when he is working with Donna.

Just today, I decided to give David Tennant a chance XD. I watched "The Christmas Invasion" and "The Girl in the Fireplace" I'll say I like David Tennant enough but I have a soft spot in my heart for Matt Smith, because the way he portrays the Doctor seems to be a little more....childlike in a way. By the way, crosslee1, did you see the new episode on BBC last night?

Ohh i want a chance to discuss this incredible plot hole. What the heck is going on with River Song i understand she is Amy and Rorys daughter Melody BUT why why why was she seen as in love with the Doctor

Plus i will always prefer David Tenant he always managed to capture the Doctors anger very well.I also liked Rose and his relationship,he loved her to the very end

Well I have this inkling that the Doctor and River Song have...*cough cough* romantic relationship in his future/her past....besides what's not to love about the Doctor *wink wink*

And about David Tennant, I've seen 3 episodes with the Tenth Doctor and Rose. I think their relationship is very sweet but I also love the little love triangle between Rory, the Doctor, and Amy. However, I do think the relationship between Amy and the Doctor is, in a word, touching. I especially love their little moment when he's holding her hands in Flesh and Stone, because it's simply sweet and adorable and shows how much he cares for her.

On Rory, I hate him. He annoys me to tears! I cheered when he was erased from history (loudly) and glared at the TV in anger when he came back in The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. However, I did crack a little smile when he insisted on gaurding Amy while she was in the Pandorica for 2,00 years. That was very sweet.

I LOVE Doctor Who! <3 Unfortunatly, I don't get any form of BBC so I'm stuck wandering back-alley websites till I find an epi.
But OMG. A good man goes to war. I just saw it a few hours ago and I'm still geeking out about it!
And I agree. Rory needs to go. I can't help but like him a little, but most of the time I can't stand him. He's annoying and insecure and other than that, he's got no other faults. It bothers me.
At first I couldn't stand River, but once I saw an episode where she was really a part of it, I fell in love with her. I can't help it. I don't like how she and the Doctor are sorta a thing though. I like him and Amy better.
Matt Smith is my favorite Doctor. (Granted, I only saw the end of Tennant's. I didn't ever even see Rose. But that's okay. From what I've heard and read, she would annoy me. Too soap opera-y. I am sad I missed Donna and Captain Jack. I'm planning on catching up on them.)
So.. yea. It's my new obsession. I love Amy. And Matt Smith is soooooo cute <3 I did like David Tennant and I'm sad to see him go but Matt Smith makes it almost more fun. What do you guys think of the new Daleks? I'm not too sure I like them.
And The Doctor's Wife was a great episode. The TARDIS is really funny (: "You can call me Sexy!"
Oh, Doctor Who. I'm so obssesed. It would be sad, but since it's Doctor Who, it's really not <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
