and thats not even bringing up the other side characters and how realistically and tenderly their disabilities are portrayed, how it's not something to change in *them* but something to change the world to suit them. i could write an essay on this manga and its cast.

yasha nydoorin (featured in my profile theme shjdhsj) from critical role is . definitely one of my all time favorites in any media ive ever seen. the acting that ashley johnson puts into her and the general vibe of everything about her is just. the best ever. her arc is also soo compelling- its a beautiful story about love and loss and healing and its just so good

{Loki, Marvel Cinematic Universe-- a decade later and I still go all starry-eyed at him and / or just at Tom Hiddleston. I'm a sucker, he's very talented as an actor and Loki is just...such an intriguing character. The new series really rekindled the old love and it's like living in 2012 again. [Honestly I love a lot of MCU characters, Loki is just my fav and has been since 2012 xD]}
{Martian Manhunter, Justice League: The Animated Series-- again I just, really love the character. Also Carl Lumbly is a phenomenal voice actor. J'onn is this...deeply emotionally hurting guy who puts everyone before himself and has so much empathy for everyone around him. A mood, also very good characterization imo.}
{Alastor, Hazbin Hotel-- full bias since my sona's whole story involves him but Alastor is a great character. He's old-fashioned, gentlemanly, respects women, and he's this incredibly powerful serial killer. Love to see it. 10/10 would want to be friends.}
{Hordak, She-Ra [reboot]-- his story and character arc are just so powerful to me on so many levels bc I really relate to him. Everything he does is to please the being who created him, at the cost of himself, until he meets someone who's also an outcast and she changes his heart [or just encourages him to be himself instead of what his creator demands]. The religious background, the chronic pain / being sickly, being able to get away from toxic influences because of the person he loves that makes him better? I go by Hordak a lot for a reason!}
{I could also go off about Invader Zim and other characters but there's several from the series I love xD}
