I've been started watching this series earlier this week. It's pretty good if you get past the (in my opinion) terrible pilot episode, but I'm starting to get slightly bored by it now (I'm on episode 20 of the first season).

Does it get better? <_< It's not bad, just rather... stale. But then again, I'm not into it for all the romance/drama, just the supernatural awesomeness.

To me it gets better but I love romance and Drama so I don't really know if you would like it much if you don't like the romance. Do you watch Supernatural? It has some pretty cool supernatural stuff, a little Gorey and not a lot of romance.

Oh, it's not that I dislike the romance *has voted in the poll*, it's just that it's a bit predictable. I mean, sure there appear to be many options, but it's a tv show, it's difficult for me to overcome the fact that I know how it's going to end (and by that I mean Elena will most likely end with Stefan, more or less like the books, I doubt they'll actually follow the books exactly: they'd lose many watchers).

Also seeing all the ghost characters and wishing they didn't have to leave and could stay longer on TVD

Damon getting stabbed with those wooden stakes in the cave (how bouts I stab the person who put them there as a trap?)

Elena walking in whilst he was doing that.. *awkward*
Bonnie finding out..
Necklace being destroyed but then reappearing
Elena talking about having hope with stefans humanity again
All the ghost characters leaving..
Finding weird markings on the cave walls that symbolize the originals..?
Every episode is so unpredictable yet so amazing
Can't wait for the originals flashbacks in the next episode.C:

That episode was awesome! I also wished the ghost coulda stayed. I thought it was funny when lexi bashed stefans head into a car window
