[size=85] peeve: that jayfeather wouldn't just give in and make briarlight his apprentice. she was fully capable of becoming one, and it was really her only option, besides just dragging herself around all day.

This. For others, I guess her disability would have been off putting, but that's a little hypocritical coming from Jayfeather. Plus, maybe some purpose would brighten her up a little. I mean, she got all excited about sorting through some moss.

But Briarlight's destiny wasn't to be a medecine cat, even if her legs didn't work she wasn't meant to be one.

I suppose...though apparently, neither was Cinderpelt, and that worked out okay- mostly.[/size]

It was upsetting to me because EVERY TIME they encountered him you would forget how old he was. Ravenpaw could have ALWAYS changed his name to something like Barley's name, but he was clinging to his past life, wasn't he? He could have asked Firestar to give him his warrior name as a "you were one of my best friends and I wish you could have stayed in the clans" gift.

But maybe he was fine with his name.

Exactly, maybe he wanted his name to be a symbol of his past. Also, I read somewhere that Erin Hunter would have had his warrior name be Ravenwing, and he will join StarClan when he dies.

•How everybody hates Ashfur for being 'evil'. He was pushed to the point of breaking! He wasn't a purely evil cat, he was depressed and a bit mentally unstable after what he's been through in his life.
•How 90% of cats that are actually important to any prophecy are from ThunderClan.
•How almost every book in the main series focuses around a ThunderClanner.
•How Hollyleaf died for literally nothing. Not even her words. She just got crushed under a rockfall.
•How Flametail died for literally nothing. He even acknowledges this in the books!
•How Spottedleaf dies twice, with the first time being for nothing.
•How many, many other good characters die for literally nothing.
•How BloodClan simply dissapears rather than ever trying to even attempt what they did once before, seeing as how they nearly suceeded earlier.
•Yellowfang dies so early and then is barely ever seen after.
•How Firestar goes from aprentice to warrior in one book, while many others stay aprentices for nearly a whole arc.

Ah. I always forget about the mangas. You are right about that. And I haven't finished the Omen of the Stars series yet, might not for a while. It hasn't been my favorite thus far. The others still stand, though. I was kind of hoping to see Flametail being a bit more frequently used. I'd liked his character up to the point where he drowned.

Well, you could say how atheists don't believe in God. How does a person get a life at all you peabrain

actually, warriors are very different. there are only two beliefs: starclan, or nothing. for them, starclan is just their ancestors watching over them. it seems a bit obvious that they are real, though, when you get attacked by dead cats--starclan's enemies, nonetheless.

anyways, I really wish hawkfrost would have turned nice in the end, and realized how horrible he had been. he was so awesome, and my favorite evil character. he would have been so cool up in starclan.
