Another thing is that Firestar takes every loner/rouge into the clan. And seriously? Did Hollyleaf seriously have to die? I started loving her in the 4th series.

Speaking of that,midnight came off gary-stueish to me, he speaks badger (well, of course.) cat,and fox I think.

Oh, and how princess never checked on her kit, I fully expected her to come out during leaf bare just to wish him a merry Christmas (even though the clans don't celebrate it, she's a Kittypet.)

He forgives her in the last hope, and it annoys me that crowfeather was so cruel to leafpool after returning to their clan.

Did you know that Erin Hunter is actually like four different people? When I went on the Warriors website and saw that I was like... Whoa.

On the related topic: Going back to the second series when they meet Midnight, the badger(?)... How can the cats communicate with the badger but they can't communicate with any other creatures?! (It's been a while since I read the books but I can't remember....)

Really? Interesting.
I just went on to the site and checked, and it turns out that Victoria Holmes is the one who comes up with the ideas for the books, while the other three take turns writing them.

That is just to add to the plot. It's interesting and creative and that's why they did that. I'm not going to complain because I think it's cool that they can finally communicate with another animal. Midnight is also a contributing character to the books. Without her, Sol wouldn't have been much to look at. Her existence and ability to 'speak cat' has provided something fresh to the plot and I enjoyed her character. [wait... Midnight is a girl, right? lol]

Yes, there is something in the warrior code about kittypets. But honestly, that is what made Firestar so special. He was a kittypet who wished to be out in the forest. He had dreams about hunting mice and going on adventures and that is why he was accepted into the clan. He's such a huge character in the books and how he came into Thunderclan makes the plot that much more interesting.

Heathertail really bothers me too. I liked her when she was an apprentice and got along with Lionpaw real well, but now she's just so irritating. She's self-centered and unforgiving and so ignorant. She drives me insane sometimes.

I was so happy when Hollyleaf came back.
She is such an awesome character and I really love the spark she provides to the books.
I kind of wish she was mentioned more in the last part of 'The Forgotten Warrior.'
The book is supposed to be about her and she is found out really early on.
If she was there the whole time then why on earth was she found so quickly?
That bugs me.

But now I'm happy. I understand that Brambleclaw was upset that Squirrelflight didn't tell him but I'm glad he finally realizes that she had no other choice. Leafpool told Squirrelflight not to tell. She didn't have a choice. And do you really think Brambleclaw wouldn't have told? He's the deputy.

The have no idea of their kinship though, its not like with Princess where she and Firestar were litter mates and new each other from the beginning. I doubt their mother even knew about Quince (Scourge's mother) and so she wouldn't be able to relay it to her kittens.

What bothers me like this is when the clan cats seem to forget they're related to certain other cats. They got better about as the books went on, but in the first series kinship meant almost nothing with few exceptions (part of the reason why I love Tigerstar).
