All of you complain that Ferncloud and Dustpelt are the parents of the whole clan and stuff like that. FYI, they had 7 kits, 3 died so four cats are not the whole clan.

we've had discussions like that before; plus, I don't see the harm in it even if she was the mom of like the whole Clan. it's realistic! I mean, hey: not every cat is going to be the way you want it. sometimes your way isn't the best way, you know what I mean? opinions are valued, but not when they are not educated or even just researched for two minutes.

Ferncloud is like the one who 'supllys' the clan with new warriors. All cats are different... thats whats shes for i guess

with meerkats two meerkats are in charge and are the parents of nearly the whole clan, so it would be realistic as cats do mate with whoever and they have a lot more ktis than 7

i just found out the 6 who go to find midnight in the New Prophecy only 1 isn't in the family tree (till lateron)

I really don't like Ivypool. If I were a cat in the books I would have a few words for her.
I get that there need to be some mouse-brained characters in the books but she just drives me insane.
Sometimes it's like she literally has a mouse brain. -squeak- ;3

I think Erin was lacking her creative sense when she got to the names. She had already made names for all of the clans and there are so many cats that she resorted to names like Berrynose to avoid being repetitive. Sure, it's not a great name, but at least it's original, hehe. <3

It kind of bugs me that Firestar is so trusting towards loners and cats from other clans. You would think by now that he would know some cats are just up to no good. And other times he lets himself get walked all over and it's irritating. I understand that characters have to have their flaws, but as a leader he needs to be a bit more resistant to the cats who push him around.

Did you know that Erin Hunter is actually like four different people? When I went on the Warriors website and saw that I was like... Whoa.

On the related topic: Going back to the second series when they meet Midnight, the badger(?)... How can the cats communicate with the badger but they can't communicate with any other creatures?! (It's been a while since I read the books but I can't remember....)

Speaking of that,midnight came off gary-stueish to me, he speaks badger (well, of course.) cat,and fox I think.

Oh, and how princess never checked on her kit, I fully expected her to come out during leaf bare just to wish him a merry Christmas (even though the clans don't celebrate it, she's a Kittypet.)

Uuurgghh the whole princess thing just annoyed me. Wasn't there something in the warrior code about kitty pets?
