That's the way the clan works. When they become warriors they get totally awesome names, usually, but yea gotta be a 'paw first.

The cat pictures have constant coat and eye change.
Firestar's and Leafstar's names are a bit strange...Briarlight or Plumwillow?
Rainflower is annoying.
Snowfur's crush on Thistleclaw is aggravating.
Do cats actually listen to young warriors like Dawnpelt making random accusations these days?
Not enough cats die in the later books...not like I like that they die, but in reality feral cats die rather commonly...not to mention they died more frequently before.
Actually, there are an average of twenty cats in each clan. There's a leader, deputy, a few elders, throw in a couple queens and their kits, add all of the apprentices, and you leave just enough warriors to get the job done.
Yeah. Graystripe had amber eyes, then golden, then amber again.
What's strange about them?
Really, I found Thrushpelt more annoying than Thistleclaw.Thistleclaw was an evil mouse-brain, so what?
All right. I hate how Jayfeather and Lionblaze treat Leafpool and Squirrelflight in Omen of the Stars. They didn't even consider that Squirrelflight had lied to Ashfur to protect them, instead of finally telling the truth.
