I was in the car with my mom, brother, and LotR hater, my cousin. My mom thought orcs were ORGS. Me and my brother just about died. We were like, "You always thought that they were orgs?!?!?!?" While we cracked up, and she was like, "Well yea, I thought that that's what they were saying."

My friend thinks Oakenshield is his name c: We were on the phone (she'd just seen The Hobbit) and she was talking about the leader guy with the tree weapon and I was like, "Yep that's Thorin Oakenshield!" But she must not have heard correctly because she was like, "Oh yeah! Now I remember his name! So yeah Oakenshield was like walking along with Kili, or Fili, and then..." And it was just so cute and funny to listen to and secretly I was cracking up XD But I didn't have the heart to correct her <33

I was arguing with my cousins about Elves today.
They thought that Elves were the little hobbit-sized things that worked for Santa (We had watched Elf with Will Ferrel the night before), and looked like this;


I kindly explained that Elves are actually very tall, very beautiful, handy with a bow and arrow, and looked like this;

To which they replied, "Liar." To which I replied, "Learn your Elves."


My uncle told me I have big feet. I told him I'm half hobbit.
