My question of the day:

anyone have a favorite character in "The Hobbit"?

Mine is probably Bombur simply because he seems so funny! I also like Bilbo Baggins because he was a hobbit who was brave and adventurous enough to leave his home to go on an adventure! I also like Smaug because i love dragons, and the Mirkwood spiders because i LOVE giant spiders!!

Hmm... well, after watching all the trailers and TV spots and stuff, I have decided that my favourite characters are Bofur(We wants his hat, precious!), Ori, Radagast, and, of course, Smaug, Thranduil and Legolas(but that´ll be in the second movie, I think)I can´t wait to see what they make Smaug look like! But in the book, because almost none of the dwarves have a distinct personality, I would say Bilbo and Smaug

Sadly, I might not be able to watch the Hobbit I´m surprised I´m staying so calm now, but inside I´m screaming, aahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!I thought the cinema near to where I live would have it in original language, but by the looks of it they only have it in Spanish, which will be rubbish. If that is the case, I prefer to wait till it comes out in DVD (though I´ll miss the 3D ), so I won´t be on this thread for a while to avoid spoilers. It makes me feel so sad, but I think all the magic will be lost with other voices for the characters, and the way they sing the Misty Mountains song is awful.
