I would love some cold dreary weather!!! Here it's a balmy 80 F every day still.

It's easier to be nicer/more open online. You don't have to look into people's eyes, see their expressions, their disapproval or reluctance or boredom. xD It's easier to fake being supportive or sympathetic or happy for someone, which makes you seem like a nicer friend. It's not necessarily WRONG, just very different in the sense of communication and perception.

And, to get this back on topic:
Does anyone have any reservations or doubts about the upcoming movie?
Anyone mad they won't be able to see it right away?
Any parts of the book they are excited/hopeful to see on the big screen?

True, I seem to be better at making friends on the internet then in real life. Its so warm here......I want it to be cold. And snow. I love snow.

I am worried about what the third part will be like, that is about the only thing I am worried about. I am not very worried about not being able to see it right away, because we will eventually see it. Ohhh I want to see Smauge. And Feli and Keli

I'm not so certain about the sheer amount of changes Peter Jackson's going to make. I mean, I know that he's 'beefing it up' a little by adding things by Tolkien's other works, and so that mostly nothing will be anything that Tolkien didn't say, but I have doubts about Legolas, Galadriel and Tauriel; though, Galadriel was a Council member, and obviously they pass through Mirkwood, but Tauriel? Supposedly Kili is supposed to fall in love with her ^_^ And when does Radaghast come in? Because I may just be crazy today but I don't really remember his part in the whole thing.
And no way am I mad to not see it right away c: I'm just glad to see it when I can! And excited and grateful and just so happy that I can go to the midnight premiere!!
But really, I am excited to see everything, though I am saying all this stuff truly I know it's going to be amazing and I won't be let down c: I'm just voicing some of the other stuff I think.

I just hope that they stay true to the story... I can understand if The Hobbit was split into 2 parts, but 3? I'm dreading to find out what unnessesary bits they have added to the story. Unless they focus a lot on Gandalf and what he's doing while the dwarves are travelling...

The hobbit is a long story......So it splits into two parts plus some extra stuff....I dunno, it could be good.

I know it will be good. I'm just thinking it might lose some of the purity of the story, you know? Because The Hobbit was simpler and friendlier than Lord of the Rings, it was more of a child's story of adventure and treasure if anything, without the fate of the world hanging in the balance and all.

Indeed, I don't think they will do too much to it. The Hobbit was hard for me to read as a kid because it scared me, but once I was around 10 I could read it.....Then I did LOTR when I was 12 or 13.
