That would be so cool. In my boring science class last year I used to sit and look out of the window imagining that a whole army of elves and men and dwarves came over the mountain suddenly, and rid us of the stupid teachers, and that I would go off with them on some cool adventure, instead of learning boring formulae :ugeek:

hahaha. lol

I sit in my classes wishing I was working as an extra on the hobbit...

The sets looked amazing in the production videos! I just wish I could have been an extra! :D I can't wait to see everything in the movies. Laketown and Mirkwood are my favourite places, other than the Shire and Fangorn, so I can't wait to see how they put them into film! :D

the big green screens, wires and cameras destroy the fantasy... but once the sets were filled with people and movement and chatter, things really come to life and I understand why extras are needed.

Yeah, I guess cameras and screens and wires in Middle Earth don't exist  But it probably looks real enough, especially as everyone has costumes on! Did you get to keep the costume afterwards?

Aw, that's annoying. Well, at least you got to be a Middle Earthian for a while!
And yeah. If they didn't look real it would be sort of worrying...

Half the fun of stepping onto a new set was to look around and see all the details, it really was incredible how much detail is put into those sets.

Yeah well I did, I got my little childhood dream come true... I got to go to middle earth for a little while
