I was cleaning out my closet at my parents' house recently and found all my old posters. xD I had like 5 or more of just LotR; 2 Legolas, one of Merry and Pippin, I think 2 of everyone.. And of course super hero posters, planets, dinosaurs, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, horses, and more.
Good thing I had a lot of wall space, haha.

i need more superhero posters, LOTR posters, and predatory animal posters!

Actually, you guys surprise me. I don't mean to brag but I found three new people who liked Lord of the Rings the other day. Bumping the total up almost to twenty. *yesss*

Er, just because people are not interested does not mean they are 'ignorant fools'. That's a rather judgmental and harsh comment to say, especially behind their backs when they cannot defend themselves.
I have friends that love trash shows like Rock of Love and Jersey Shore, but they are still my friends. They are still smart, responsible, nice, good people with college degrees.
I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings, but there is more to life than obsessing over it.

Take Justin Beiber. Some hate him, some love him.
Just because some people love him, and they are friends with those who hate him, doesn't mean they should stop being friends. They're not about to start insulting each other out of the blue. I, personally, am not a fan of his music, but seriously, Justin Beiber isn't actually a bad singer. I choose not to listen to his music, and I don't understand why some people are completely obsessed with him. But I respect the people who are, because that is what they're interested in and even if you don't know a person, you should at least give them a measure of respect unless they prove you otherwise. That doesn't mean one's right and one's wrong. The world isn't going to end, and they don't deserve to be called ignorant fools. They are allowed to like and dislike what they may. Just because someone might not necessairily like Justin Beiber doesn't mean they're a fool, and I think you'd all agree with me. Everyone has their own opinions and everyone should be respected as such.

Haha XD This made me lol because I though it was kind of obvious that Aisling was joking? No offense or anything. I mean nobody actually genuinely calls someone an ignorant fool because they're not a fan of something, lol. T'would be silly.

thunderofthedrum you may have taken it a little too seriously xP Joking about the fact that she knows nobody in her new school that's into LotR is hardly obsessing over it, it's just making an observation and joking about it. I doubt that if any of the people in her school read this they would feel offended. So, it's pretty much harmless. Aisling doesn't really believe they are ignorant fools.

I told someone from my new school I was going to dress as a Nazgul for Halloween and she had no clue what I was talking about, so I told her it was a type of zombie-ish thing and she goes "Why do you want to be a zombie?! You're a girl!!" So then I had to spend the next ten minutes explaining exactly what the Nazgul are so she could understand and when I was done...she still didn't get it
I'm not saying that just because someone doesn't like LotR means they're stupid, I just thought this was rather amusing

I actually knew a girl that had no clue what LOTR. She had never heard of the movies, books, or anything. I felt bad for her because in the church we used to go to the other kids where crazier then me about it.
