Why does he hates poor Smeagol? What did Smeagol ever do to him?
Good Smeagol always helps
(Smeagol says he "always helps" and "won't hurt a fly". But he tries to murder Sam and lure Frodo to Shelob's lair. And he bites off Frodo's finger. And he killed Deagol. For a ring.
So i would not trust him far as i could throw a horse by the tail!!
By the way, the first 4 lines are paraphrased from the incident in the book (which, alas, was not in the movie) with the Barrow-Wight capturing the 4 hobbits and Frodo saving them by calling for Old Tom Bombadil. (It's too bad old Tom Bombadil was not in the movie. He is my very favorite character in "Lord of the Rings")
And here is a rhyme about old Bombadil for those who do not know him!
"Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow.
Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow.
There are none who can catch him, for Tom he is the master.
His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.")
