Haha I know. Of course they did, though, it's a movie. And they can't be distracted with yrch while they're sobbing over Frodo. And then, of course he lives, and the yrch come in earnest again. You know... Once in a while I've wondered what would have happened if Frodo just died then and there.

Hahaha... Now my parents are giving me funny looks, What the heck is she giggling about?

Do how much I get that look? Then the parentals ask me what the heck i'm laughing about, and when I point it out, they just sigh or ask me again why it's so funny.

Haha nowadays mine give me the look, then they just share an exasperated sigh. But they’re good-natured about my giggling in the corner. They probably think I just read a cute text from my crush or something. At least they don’t ask me what it’s about.

yeah. I get that a lot when I try to explain something funny to my parents and my mom doesn't even laugh she just says that she has no idea what I'm talking about. At least for othr people I pretend to laugh when I don't know what they're talking about.

sometimes I see LotR references in stuff but of course no one else notices them so when I start laughing hysterically at something that is not at all funny unless you know LotR people just do the "smile and back away slowly" thing
