Yeah, good point, but still...I don't know, I'm for Gale and Katniss, but I still like how in the books Ktniss said.

"I realized why I needed Peeta. Peeta was a daisy, fragile, and sweet. Gale is like the fire, angry, and destruction. I have enough fire myself"

I hated the ending, actually... it had no sense of closure AT ALL WHATSOEVER. Collins had ended every book in the series with a major cliffhanger, so when that wasn't an option anymore she just slapped together an ending that basically said "so prim, the character that made katniss go into the games to begin with, dies, her relationship with her childhood best friend is shattered, and peeta takes over her life. the end." it did not answer any of the questions I wanted answered, and ended so abruptly that I just sat there with my mouth gaping open, staring unblinking at the book for a full minute before throwing it at the wall. (true story XD)

I agree, I did not like the ending, just that quote! BUt she slaps together the fact that Prim dies, Katniss hates Gale(kind of) and probably will never see him again because she thinks it was his bomb thingy that killed Prim. She also agrees to have one last Hunger Games, and she marries and has kids with Peeta! I was very confused and quite sad, about Prim dying and her and Gale just...ending.

I know... if katniss was going to break up with gale and never see him again, Collins should have had it happen way sooner than she did before we got attached to him I mean, she LITERALLY waited till the last second to say that gale was gone. I bet she didn't even know herself who katniss was going to end up with, and just made up her mind at the last second to meet a deadline.

and bunnyctrl, I AM SO GLAD WE'RE ALL TEAM GALE PEOPLE HERE! in most places I read that people are more for team peeta than gale, and that just makes me so sad XP but I'm glad to see there are lots of Gale supporters.
