As we all know, online games don't last forever. Whether that's because the company that owned it went out of business, it lost popularity or it simply it couldn't keep up with new technology. No matter the reason of your favourite online game shutting down, it's always sad for those who enjoyed playing it.

That's why I created this thread! Growing up, I played many online games — it was the best thing amongst my generation! However, with the popularity of apps, Flash Player slowly grew obsolete — thus leading to its end in 2020. This is one of the main reasons why our favourite games are shutting down. That, and many other factors such as declining popularity,

So, feel free to reminisce about the online games you have lost! You never know, you might meet someone who shares the same memories as you.

There was a game called Boopets, kinda a Halloween neopets. They'd recently updated the pets art last I played but now it's gone ): I miss my dolphin/octopus and tarantula. I used to play a lot during school

Oh goodness, the sad fate of games you can no longer play. It makes me wanna go back in time.

- SuperPoke Pets. I ADORED this game, and it got shut down by Google for selfish reasons. There hasn't been a game similar to it. I miss it dearly : c

- Littlest Pet Shop VIP World. This was back before the "new LPS" came out. Why did they even redesign LPS? I feel like they did so because of the popularity of My Little Pony. VIP World was inspired by Webkinz, you buy a plushie and that plushie has a code. Again, I miss it. Franky, I miss the old LPS in general. Back then, websites were colorful and had their individual charm. Now? It's bland and toys all copy the look of one another. Sites copy the bland look with little customization. Simplified.

- Bearsville. It was an online world connected with Build-A-Bear, I miss it but apparently there's a team of people out there trying to recreate the original game.

A lot of ours have rewritten versions, but the VDex Project off the top of my head is one game that was small and never got a rewritten version.
