Saddest Character Deaths in everything (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Name of character that died: Johnny Cade
What are they from: The Outsiders
How they died: Broken back from being crushed by a roof.
Clip or quote(if applicable): well he was abused as a child and he "looked like a dark little puppy who'd been kicked to many times." He went and saved a bunch of young children from a burning church, and pushed his friend out just in time as the roof collapsed, but he didn't get out. He spent a few days in the hospital and then he dies. When he dies he says, "Stay Gold, Ponyboy. Stay Gold."

It was very sad. Great book though.

It was very sad. Great book though.

Oh my gosh, yes! I read this over the summer and I cried my eyes out. Johnny was my favorite character.

And Prim's death didn't even faze me. I never really liked her, especially in the movies. I was in tears when Finnick died.

Murtagh from Eragon was the first person I cried when he died, even though he didn't technically die. But he kind of did die, because Galbatorix changed his mind and warped him so much.

Fili and Kili from The Hobbit was really sad, too.

Im sorry, everyone, but the only thing I can think about when you talk about Agustus is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, "Agustus Gloop, Agustus Gloop, the great big greedy nincompoop!"

What they were from: The Maze Runner
How they died: jumping in front of his best friend and taking the knife to save the main characters life (he was only 12)
Quotes: "Thomas..." Chuck whispered. "Find... My mom."

He didn't finish. His eyes closed, his body went limp. One last breath wheezed from his mouth.

(While holding his lifeless body)
"I promised him! I promised I'd save him, take him home! I promised him!"
Thomas hugged Chuck to his chest, squeezed him as tightly as possible, as if that could somehow bring him back, or show thanks for saving his life, for being his friend when no one else would.

Thomas cried, wept like he'd never wept before. His great, racking sobs echoed through the chamber like the sounds of tortured pain.

Name of character that died: Mina Hakuba (though she didn't actually die)
What are they from: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
How they died: I don't quite know... Celia Fortner hit her with some sort of blueish beam/spell thing and... she died. Though, it was actually a doppelganger, for a while, I had only ever seen the bad ending of the game, and in the bad ending, no one ever tells you she was a doppelganger, so I thought she was actually dead... they tell you if you don't get the bad ending, though. (It's not the good ending because there's more to the game if you don't get the bad ending)

Name of character that died: He had no name. He was a Hound/Hyena like creature from a different planet.
What are they from: Hes from "The Riddick: Rule The Dark"
How they died: So in the beginning Riddick lands on a planet that Captain Krone claims is his homeland "Furya" but Riddick knows its not. Anywho Krone attacks Riddick and he shoots at the plateau under Riddicks feet and Riddick falls down a cliff with a whole bunch of rocks. Riddick wakes up to find his leg broken and that he has been spotted by a pack of wild dog-like creatures he is attacked by one but he gets away. After his injuries heal he leaves the cave he found and he ends up finding a litter of the dog like creature puppies so he takes one and raises it as his own. They form a strong bond and 6 months later Riddick ventures onto the other side of the unknown planet where humans were but it was abandoned. Bounty hunters/mercs find out he his there and they head out to the planet for Riddicks head. Then another team comes and Riddick plays with them killing them off one by one. Riddick reveals himself to make a deal but one of the bosses from the team tries to attack Riddick but Riddicks dog jumps out chewing uup the dudes arm and they struggle for awhile. Riddick goes to save his dog but he is shot up with about 10 tranquilizers from a sniper far off. He tries to save his dog but he was to late, the guy shoots the dog iin the head twice until he dies. It was a really sad moment, reminds me of sam off of I Am Legend(I posted that death on here awhile back)

Name: August, the Observer.
From: TV show Fringe (2008-2013).
Cause of death: Because he loved Christine Hollis, he took a bullet to make her "special," in order to ensure that the other Observers wouldn't kill her. These are the last few lines, while September drives him away in his car:
"I saw her many years ago." *sits slumped in the back seat, blood seeping in his shirt. "She was a child. Her parents had just been killed. She was crying. But she... she was brave." *swallows emotion hard* "She crossed my mind... Somehow, she never left it. I think... it's what they call... feelings. I think..." *begins to choke* "I love her." *a single tear slips from his eye and September's eyes get teary as well* "Will she be safe now?"
September: "Yes."
August *dies*
