One of my cousins (not the one who has a profile on my island) brought his switch over and we used the local play option. So now I have peach trees. I only need apple, unfortunately so does he lol. Does the friend list (where you can mail items to others at the airport and add them to a friend's list) only work if you both have a paid account? I couldn't mail him anything even after he visited my island.

unfortunately, i'm afraid that you will have to have nintendo switch online to do that, if you're unable to send it to him on a local network :c

Queenie was getting rid of some items and her first one was "dragon suit". I got all excited thinking it would be like the frog, bear, bunny suit, etc. I bought it from her and then was so disappointed that it was just a yellow one piece with the picture of a dragon on it. :sigh:

I just got ACNH for Christmas, and about a week ago got KK Slider to play! So now I'm focusing on making my island the way I want it. The problem is, getting bells is so hard.
Is there anyone that would be okay with me joining their island to collect fruits and such? Feel free to PM me if so, I'd love to find more people to play with.

I just got ACNH for Christmas, and about a week ago got KK Slider to play! So now I'm focusing on making my island the way I want it. The problem is, getting bells is so hard.

I got bells pretty easily by doing all the nook miles plus tasks and using nook miles to buy tickets to go to mystery islands. Then I'd chop all the tress, hit all the rocks and pull all the weeds and sell them and all the fruit and shells . I fished a lot and caught a lot of bugs, sold shells and any DIYs and fossils that were duplicates. I also checked the recycle box every day and got the items out of there and sold them. I gifted every villager, every day. If you give them a good enough item, they will give you an item in return and then you can sell those. Iron nuggets and some of the more valuable shells will get you an item back when gifted to a villager. I don't currently have switch online, so the mystery islands is how I made most of my bells. If you have Leif on your island, he pays more for the weeds than Nooks. Also, make sure you look for the glowing spot every day and plant the money trees. If you plant a thousand bells in the glowing spot, you get back three thousand. If you plant ten thousand bells, you get back thirty thousand.

i've had the game since release day but i recently reset my island and am a little behind where you're at with kk slider. i almost have a fully expanded house, i think i just have one more room to go, meaning i've spent 3,100,000 bells. i got all of this money from turnips! i joined a couple animal crossing discord servers and went to the turnip chats and purchased 8,000 turnips for 91 bells each, then went to someones island who was buying them for 602 each i believe. that gave me a profit of 4,816,000. so basically, i spent like 300,000, but thats just a fraction of the cost i made back.

The turnip market! It's one of the easiest ways to make bells if you don't time travel and you can ask people about the turnip prices on their islands.

If you're comfortable trading with people online, you can sell items or villagers for bells or Nook Miles Tickets (or the items you can get with those). That might help!

Also, you can make tidy sums in a short time by catching beetles or diving for creatures. That always helps me when I'm stuck.

I haven't been playing the game much but I can PM you the next time I play if you want to visit my island.
