What obscure shows/movies do you remember watching as a kid?

This really ugly cartoon movie adaptation of White Fang from 1991. I was half convinced it was a fever dream until I managed to dig it up again a few years ago.

It was not nearly as cool as it was when I was a kid lol.

I had no idea I needed this thread in my life but I finally have somewhere to talk about all the weird crap I watched as a kid lmao

For some context a lot of these shows were viewed in Britain between the early 2000’s to early 2010’s and were mostly either on the CBBC, CITV and cbeebies channels since we weren’t really wealthy enough for access to any channels like Disney channel/Cartoon Network/etc.

Anyone remember “My Parents are Aliens”?
Honestly that show was so good but only one person I’ve asked actually remembers it and nobody else has ever heard of it and that makes me really sad. The basic premise is exactly what the title implies, a group of adopted children living with their parents who just happen to be aliens, and the antics that ensue of them not understanding the human world.

This same friend and I were also talking about a really vague memory we had of a live action show where a bunch of really weird and zany stuff happened and the villain would always reset the day at the end. The only other detail I could recall was the fact that an instrumental of “Goodbye mr. A” by the Hoosiers played during the intro while the main character walked to work, yet despite this we both somehow managed to find the show? It was called “Hounded” and to this day I haven’t met a single other person who knows what this show is, I might need to try and watch an episode again at some point since my memory is still just as hazy lmao

I also remember watching this show where there were babies with adult heads green screened onto them? It was really weird and was just about the babies doing baby stuff and going out in a pram to meet other babies? And they had like this arch nemeses rapper baby? And all I remember is this bit where he goes “chicken in a box do u like my socks yo” and for the longest time I was convinced it was a fever dream but apparently it’s real-

Finally, any kid who grew up in Britain probably knows this, but Horrid Henry is an absolute classic that me and my friends still meme on to this day, glad the movie adaptation was good.

I’ll probably come back here at some point because there’s just so much stuff that I watched growing up that seemingly nobody else has ever heard of, but I don’t want this post to go on forever lmao

Duiudeee when I was younger I watched this weird movie about zombieish people!! There was a family of 2 parents and 3 kids. The parents decided to go on an anniversary trip or something but the day they were supposed to be back they weren’t. So the three kids decided to go and find out why. As the oldest was driving they came across an old town, an old western town. It was getting dark so they went to the hotel. The registration book had their parents names on it. Their parents were there. As they were watching out their hotel window they realized that everything was repeating itself. The people on the street kept doing the same exact thing over and over again. Then after a while the oldest brother, who also signed the registration book, began acting weird. He left the building and went down the street. The two other kids decided to follow him. They got to this strange looking building and went inside. They found their parents in there but they were actually the result parents. They were clones. They went deeper inside the building and it turned in the inside of some weird creature. They eventually found these weird little pods full of people. They found a their real parents and got out of that town dealt fast. They also found out that the whole town was a giant monster. After they got home everything was normal until a few days later when the movies ends with the parents eyes glowing all creepally.
I’m not sure what the name of this movie is called but I still remember after all these years.

we had a family video just down the street from our house (closed a few months ago) and we were frequent customers. when i was very little and deep in my dinosaur phase there was this documentary about dolichorhynchops that i'd ask we rent again and again. i don't know how many times i watched it and i don't remember a thing about it other than i was completely obsessed with it for a good while. drove my parents crazy i bet but they still kept getting it for me

there was this weird show called making fiends. it was animated and basically about a girl traumatizing an entire town with monsters she created. the town was called clamburg and it was super nice until the girl took over. i remember them saying things like "stay away from clamburg or youll be hospitalized" implying that this young girl had previously injured and maybe killed people??

i watched cow and chicken !! the only episode i really remember is one where they dressed up in like wiener costumes-

I've heard of this show a few months ago, but never watched it when it was coming out. Maybe because it seemed only like 10 episodes came out. It seemed kinda creepy though..but kind of interesting.

Anyway, the only obscure show I can really remember is this old animated Hello Kitty show? (I think) I have super vague memories of it but I watched it years back, and suddenly remembered it like a year or two ago. For some reason I also remember there being a castle? Or a cottage or something?? in one of the episodes i think. Also like, it was a little creepy? But maybe I'm wrong and the vague memory was the thing that creeped me out about it.
I'm sure if I wasn't so lazy I could easily find it on youtube or something.
