Heck, if I knew we didn't have to use ALL the colors of the palette on each design I would've done it a bit differently XD

Also I accidentally left a small version of the palette i picked next to one of my designs as it was easier to pick the colors when zoomed in. Is that okay still?

You can still change the file you want us to see, so you could still change your outcomes.

What matters is your art =) if it bothers you, you can delete it and add the new file again to your form.

Hello! I only used the colors from the color palette but would like to know if it is allowed to make the colors darker with a tool? I am not sure what it is called in English? I think the tool is called (dodge/)burn?

I was wondering something similar, if like overlay/multiply layers would be allowed (as I've seen actual cs pets with effects similar to this) or if it would change the colors too much

The idea is to see how well you can work with the the given colors, and so that it is easier to judge entries if everyone uses the same pallets, so the colors should be as true to the original as possible. Differences to the colors due to shading and blending is fine though.

If I use the template as example work, can I use any colors for the example work? Or should I stick to the pallets given even for the examples?

Hi there! :> I'm a little confused regarding highlights. I would really like to add highlights to my template submission to give the pets a little more pop, but it seems that some of the staff replies contradict each other on the matter:

Sorry for the delayed reply, you may not add a highlight layer. You can recolor the shadow layer but shouldn't change it otherwise.

Clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Sorry for the confusion. The first response, that a highlight layer may not be added, is the correct one.

It's alright! :> Just wanted to ask to be sure. By highlight layer, do you mean that it's alright to add highlights on a pre-existing layer and not on its separate layer, or are highlights simply not allowed regardless?
