Oh yes. He should have died like everyone else who died under the KillingCurse, not like a fire dying and the ashes floating away. It was too close to Bellatrix's death.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but i have read the book....I am going this weekend to see it, anyways he doesnt die like in the book? Grrrrrr this really irritates me......i hate reading something then watching the movie and it being completely different. Jk wrote the dang book so they should have to keep her ending and not remake it to their liking.

Oh, I was happy about that. I didn't think they would, but they did so I was thrilled. One of the best scenes in the books and movies.

I think the best scene in the entire movie was Snape's memories, those scenes were really good, and sad. The whole extended fight with Harry and Voldemort was absolutely stupid, as was the lack of showing people who died, we don't actually see Fred on the ground dead, we just see his family crowding his corpse and crying, sure, that was almost sad, but I didn't cry as I did in the book. And Lupin + Tonks death, just shows them in the stretchers almost holding hands.
I don't see how it's so hard to have Voldemort and Bellatrix's deaths being normal, rather than falling apart in ashes. I was very displeased with the movie, which is unfortunate, since it was the last one.
Oh, I also liked the scene with Ron and Hermione trying to kill Nagini, loved the shot of her lunging at the screen in slow motion, all those teeth <3

Okay, all you HP people! I have a question:

Well first, let me say this: I know that for the first book, the US Edition changed it to 'Sorcerer's Stone' instead of 'Philosopher's Stone'. Did they do that for the 1st movie release as well? I just re-watched the first movie and it was clearly 'Philosopher's stone' (but I watched it online so there was no official movie box to look at) but I seem to recall hearing 'Sorcerer's Stone' in this movie before what I watched it other times.... so was the US edition of this different like the US edition of the book or am I just crazy? xD

Thanks for any answers!

Yes, in the American version it is called the Sorcerer's Stone. The stone itself is also refferred to as the sorcerer's stone in the US movies.

Ah, I thought so! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't hearing things :)

That's very stupid that they changed it, especially considering by doing so, they ruined the connection to alchemy that the Philosopher's Stone had (and because it is a fabled artifact in real life) :/ Idiots.

Thanks for your answer though! :D
