My mom acts the same way but she doesn't do anything about it. The only games I'm not allowed to play are far cry 5, far cry primal, and outlast. But I play rdr2, skyrim, cod, assassin's creed, and other games like that. I used to not be able to play dumb ways to die though lol. And for some reason my mom only walks into th e room when I do something stupid or bad in a video game. Why.

I'm homeschool and this person during lunch brought their Xbox and hooked it up to the tv at my co op. The teachers made him turn it off eventually due to violence and the fact that the age range there is 6-18 so...yeah.

Violence is killing things though and gore is simply the blood and such. So a game can be violent without having any gore.

I used to have this so I have that revolved around the war and I wasn't allowed to play it but it was t I think. Fast forward a few years later and I'm playing m games oof.

Also, so I include something about a game I hate; My friend wanted to play fortnite with me yesterday and I just didn't want to but I'm a good friend so I did. After I played rdr2.

I need to start playing RDR2, I have it but just haven't played it yet..
And the funny thing is that fortnite is no where near violent LOL, when you snipe someone they fall and get taken away by a little robot.. and my mom doesn't like it because I'm killing people for no reason.....I'm not technically "killing" them, they just disappear.

Still, violence is when you kill or hurt something, gore is another thing. Fortnite is not gory, but it is still violent, sorry to say.
