hes come so far in his career and im so proud of him, he had to raise his siblings when he was a teenager while being in the most popular band and having to tour around the world. when he lost his mom instead of grieving, he pushed his feelings to the side and helped his little sisters and was there for them more than ever, he made sure they were never sad and didnt have to worry about anything. hes so strong in that sense and the song is about his mom and the part where he sings "when they took you, i wish it was me instead" just hurts so much and i cant imagine how it feels to lose someone that close to you, let alone your mom.
