haha yeah basically!

ive been playing pokemon since i was a wee young lass and i should really know better, but ive always just chosen the pokemon i thought looked the coolest. it could be weak and measly, but i would still choose it if i thought it looked cute. its never given me huge problems and i beat the games regardless, so ive kept the habit of blundering through with sheer luck.

id be lying if i said it wasnt really frustrating at times, though.

when i finally beat ghetsis, i wanted to throw my arms into the air and scream a victory cry! i was just so relieved.

Considering I have two older brothers and my older sister use to play Pokemon, too, I was practically trained into it xD I don't even remember when I started to play, but I know I had to be at least five, if not younger. But back then I thought ditching my Charmander for a team full of Rattata's was the best thing to do...

I'm sure there had to have been times where it was frustrating! When I found Mienfoo, I caught him because of his name xD Dumbest thing ever to do, but it worked out well in the end!

I did something like that before in the past, but with Steven and Maxie from Pokemon Ruby version xD

They have actually gotten creative with the designs with these games, and some of the names.

Just hopefully Fennikin wont be fire and fighting, I would like to see a fire and dark, or fire and physic starter :3

The graphics in black and white had so much more improvement than other pokemon games as before, they just get better by the game. I can't wait to see the awesome graphics and pokemon in the new game!!

Remember playing your first pokemon game? You chose the starter that looked the koolest, not the one that had advantages on the most gyms. And you just caught what you wanted when you saw it, not planning your team before the game even comes out. You didn't even know most of the pokemon, and you didn't know whre legends appeared. Maybe when we get x or y, we shouldn't read the news on serebii-if we done that we'd get the surprise of the pokemon world.

Its coming out for every nation at the same time. So we can't get any sneak peaks by looking at japanese play through. It will be kind of like in red and green came out.

oh my gosh, it'll be fantastic if fennekin is a fire/psychic type!!

of course, i'd prefer anything over fire/fighting at this point.

and that's what im planning to do for xy! once i hear news that the evolutionary lines for the starters have come out (if they do), im just going to flat out stay off of any website that could spoil it for me, whether it be here, serebii, or tumblr.

i dont really want to find out any other pokemon than the ones we already know?? i want to play through the game and discover everything as i go. its why im so glad its a national release! japan will be getting it at around the same time as us, not months beforehand.

Yeah, I would hate to have another fire/fighting starter, they need something different.

I'm going to try and stop myself for looking for spoilders, like I have for all the other games XD

I'll only look if they end up releasing a hint that they might be making another eeveelution XD

I feel like Fennekin is going to be fire/fighting, fire/dark, or just fire :P That's still the one I'm going to pick, regardless >w> Fire 4 lyfe (although that was a mistake in Unova... Samurott is way better than Emboar :P)
