The "can" was what I was emphasizing, I never actually said that was part of the main rules. Looking back on my post, I see how the first part made it seem very ambiguous. I was just trying to show different optional rules that I've heard of other people using.

Oh sorry I misunderstood. I should probably go too sleep I think my brain is on overload from re-learning how too rng today. X3

I definitely won't be adding too many hard rules. The only rules I'm adding is that I can't use healing items like potions or full heals during battle.......and maybe that I can't be more than 5-8 levels stronger than my main opponents (gym leaders, ect.).

A Nuzlocke challenge sounds interesting! I think I may try it out, because that would make playing pokemon interesting for me again. Well, I have Pearl two times, so I could just start a new game and try it out :3
Though I'm not sure if I would be able to do it over a long time ... It sounds kinda hard, even if you only follow the two main rules.

Hmm... sounds too difficult for me. I anyway reload from a previous save if my pokemon faints, because I really grow attached to my babies and I just hate them faint. I prefer my Pokemon game as it is - a tiny bit difficult at some points, but enjoyable in general.

I like to make myself a more personal story when I want to replay a game after beating it or play a bit more difficult. Like, you dont get a pokemon from professor, but is asked to deliver it to your brother in a nearby town, and you meet a cute pokemon on the way and grow attached to it... And etc, trying to give every action a backstory and a personal touch. If I want my game more difficult, I dont catch strong pokemon but the cute\overlooked ones and get them all the way through the game, trying new strategies I normally wouldnt use. But maybe its just me with my wild imagination.

Death&Ruin: If you want a challenge without those two rules you could always do a solo run. I already did that on my black game with a purloin. It was really fun and now I have a level 83 purloin. :3

Nanorat: Really? That so creative. :)
I actually plan on doing that in my nuzlocke run. I'm going too try and even make a comic strip out of it or at the very least write a story.

Making comics with pokemon sprites is so fun, they're so easy to edit. :3 Though I rarely actually write a story or make a comic of it, I just keep it to myself as my own game history. x3
Right now, for example, Im playing a story according to which my character was attacked by their family's Sawk on mistake long ago; the pokemon ran off, and my character began to fear any pokemon. Later, her parents asked professor Juniper to give her a pokemon, to help her get over her fears, telling her to deliver the pokemon to a certain town. On the way, she meets with that Sawk that attacked her, and finally gets over her fear completely when Sawk saves her, hurting itself in process. She gives the professor's pokemon back and travels on with Sawk. Yeah, I know, my imagination is wild, but its actually so fun to play with your own backstory like that. :)

By the way, on level 83 purrloin - have anyone used pressing "B" during evolution to break it? Does it breaks the evolution only once and you have to break it again on next level? Or is it permanent? I couldnt find any info on that. xP

Every time the Pokemon level ups again it will try to evolve again if it has the required level, so you will have to break it every time it levels up again. That is why the Everstone exists. That way you don't have to worry about accidentally forgetting to stop the evolution. C=

Woah, the Nuzlock Challenge looks challenging :o I would fail epicly at that XD I might try it... eventually... when I'm not too lazy.......

Nanorat, why no Herdier? you can still catch evolved pokemon c: unless you aren't talkinga bout the Nuzlocke Challenge.....?

P.S.::: OMG! I'm reading the Nuzlocke comic and I'm laughing on every page!!! lololol the curse words are a little excessive, but whatever. This challenge thingy seems to make everything more dramatic XD

8D Your reading the one I linked earlier? Yay! I love all the characters, especially the growlithe. It's why I want to take the nuzlocke challenge. <3

The growlithe? I don't think I've gotten that far, Ruby Red just started the Fire Red game. Yeah, the characters are so well thought out. Katie the spheel was one of my favs. She thought he hated her, but then she shows up later as a Walrein :'D such a touching comic <3
