Mine is slight mystery in a fantasy world.
Dante (until he is king he is nameless.) Is a lowly thief who doesnt care about any one or anything other then himself. So when someone frames him for the murder of the king (in this culture the law is that if you kill the king you must take on the responsibility.) he naturally feels trapped and it only worsens when he starts being manipulated by the real killer. Of all the council one of them needs him alive and the others just want him dead.
