I had actually never heard of it until I saw this post. It looks like a lot of fun so I'm going to try it this year. I'm thinking I'm going to need to disconnect my internet to get writing though Too many distractions!
And the good thing is, the password for my internet is uber complicated so the only way I could get back on is to ask my big bro for the password!
Anyways, going slightly off topic there. Back to the point, I'm really glad I found it this year, because it says on the site that you need to be 13 to get an account, and this is my first November of being 13 XD I don't have a clue what I'm going to write about though... I might make a vague-ish outline for it, because I work better without outlines, but I need to make sure that I stay on track as well.
So do any of you guys have your plots outlined and such yet?

What are your plot ideas?

My first plan was a near future, false utopia following an average citizen in the perfect, basically homogeneous society discovering that, no, he really doesn't want to be "average" when it means "exactly the same as everyone else". There would probably be a negative ending.

The second was following some time in the laugh of a manipulative vampire member of the Russian-American mafia in one of my pre-established worlds/story lines. There would be a lot of coverage of his attempts to manipulate the mafia to his own desires and just basically come out ahead of everyone else.

The third is another pre-established world of mine with a set supernatural investigatory detectives, one a werewolf, the other claiming to be a wizard and actually being a wild fae wanted by the courts for some great crime against basically all other fae. There would be a lot of coverage of magical theory and no over all crime for the detectives to solve, but a number of small ones as their own stories are explained.

And ooo, horror is fuuun.

Hey! I am doing nanowwrimo for the third year this november. My word count goal is set to over a hundred thousand. Im hoping to write around three hundred thousand though.... i know I am nuts.

Yesh, this will be my fith year participating, and I am writing a kinda a forbidden love/supernatural coming of age story with some dark and warlike elements. Hoping to fully flush out my main charries; Karne Asher and Airus Brammer. Both are guys, and I think it is gonna be rather sweet.
