Oh my goodness yes! The Book Thief is the only book that successfully made me cry, and I just love it! I recommend it as well.

Right now I'm rereading Daughter of Smoke & Bone. I never finished the last book because it bore me to death, yet the first isn't bad. I'm giving the series another shot, hopefully I'll finish it this time.
