I am in the middle of The Sorceress, the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott. Its the third book in the series.

Wasn't Nicholas Flamel in Harry Potter?

Nicolas Flamel (French pronunciation: [nikɔˈla flaˈmɛl]; Pontoise?, ca 1330 - Paris, March 22, 1418) was a successful French scrivener and manuscript-seller who developed a posthumous reputation as an alchemist due to his reputed work on the philosopher's stone.

He was mentioned in quite many books, movies, etc.

I just finished reading Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake, which was much much better than my expectations of it, and Perception by Kim Harrington, it's a sequel and is also very good.

Right now, I'm reading Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt. A friend recommended it to me and I'm not too far in but it's a semi-old book (and by that I mean 2007) but all the pop culture references are so outdated now that it's hilarious! They use MySpace, 'nuff said.
