Or people with dark skin cosplaying whites.
I really feel for them, not many characters have dark skin, but... You know how it looks, when niggah's cosplaying Naruto, for example. |D

/randomly pops in/

That reminds me of the cosplayer I saw at this anime convention. He was a middle aged, large man, cosplaying as a character that had the appearance of a ten year old....
I took his picture and was happy anyways since at the time there were barely any cosplayers from that fandom there....

This has been on my mind for a while now, but what's better, dubs or subs?
I, personally, like subs better. Dubs bother me quite a bunch; mispronouncing Japanese names and such.

Oh, girl. Subs, abosolutely. xD If you'll heard Polish dubs, you'll at once go to the subs. |D these dubs really wound Japanese, really-really.
and, I don't know you ever heard, German dubs? xD Their accent is... Interesing.

Welcome, welcome. xD Why do you have to get up at 1:00? (didn't get it. |D)

I have to go with Subs as well. I think listening to how it was originally is better. Also, the dubs sound kinda weird anyway... though that's just my opinion ^-^
I started out watching Anime Subs though. I didn't know they were originally Japanese (xD). It was only when my cousin showed me the Japanese versions that I realized. It sounded a whole lot more 'natural' too.

If I remember right, in Polish dubs Ren form Shaman King had voice like he ate a cone. And Kakashi from Naruto sounded like he were 60 years old, for me. XD
Do you remember a cartoon named Xiaolin: Showdown? In this show was Hannibal Roy Bean (XD. don't comment.) and guy who was dubbing him, was dubbing Jiraiya from Naruto. |D I was laughing all the time because of it.

xD I was watching the English Fruits Basket Dub the other day (Let me just say, the manga is way better....) and I couldn't believe how low Yuki Sohma's voice was compared to the original (His voice was so high!) xD
Yeah. One of the many reasons I prefers Subs over Dubs =]

Sounds a little different, right? XD Yep, that's the biggest reason for me.
And maybe the method of articulation - if you read Japanese word in German, for example, it will be bad too. |D
