I really can't explain why I don't like him, I just... don't find him interesting.
I feel the "father died when he was young" sorta trope is overused, and I just... a lot of the time, imo, he comes off as kinda too jerk-ish or w/e
I just really don't have an explanation, just i find him bland and uninteresting,,,
i do feel that there's other characters with /more/ development, and personality, such as Robin Newman and Vera Misham, Juniper woods, Hugh O'Conner. I don't know why I feel this way, but something about them just made me kinda like them more because it's like, the character they /do/ get is pretty cool

Those characters are really gimmicky though— Robin's a super girly girl who had to pretend she was a boy and spells four-letter words and doesn't really have a personality beyond that. Vera's shy and draws pictures instead of talking, and so on. That really isn't a personality. The characters do have personality, don't get me wrong, but they don't really have layers of it like Edgeworth does.

Edgeworth doesn't use character gimmicks and is actually a pretty interesting guy as far as character goes. On a technical level, he's great. Again, I'm not saying is type of character isn't overused, but he's still interesting and has a lot of development. He's not my favorite character ever, but bland is not the proper way to describe him. Cliché, maybe?

Read this debate about Edgeworth if you want. There are more fangirls for him than I am since…well I'm more of the Maya and Phoenix fan, honestly. XD Debates on CR are awesome. Because they're AA fans and it makes sense that they love to debate. Ooh, and if you're into character essays, read these metas on AA, most of them the mod talking about his opinions on parts of the case and parts of the game, it's really awesome. And he deconstructs Phoenix/Edgeworth.

can i just say i really like the prologue, but like... some parts of the dialogue seems like... really poorly delivered/lip-synced like the scene where they meet apollo outside the courtroom, it just... looks and sounds /off/ for some reason?

YES. Some of it felt really off.
And AA is back to not giving you the answers to what you have to do simply by pressing statements, hey! =D

o no... rip me,,, i relied on them telling me the answers im so dumb half the time xD like... dual destinies made it a bit /too/ easy... but i appreciated the help i guess?

It kinda makes sense why she'd ship it since her and Pearl are kinda around the same age and Pearl would indoctrinate Athena into the Phoenix/Maya cult.

I saw a suggestion somewhere that AA should have difficulty levels and everyone was like, "Yes, please."
Have you played the demo yet? Or is that only available yet in North America?
