A slight turn from the otherwise { in my humble opinion } cutesy games around here. The SH series just needs to be acknowledged. I can't be the only die-hard fan here.

Ah, yes. "In my restless dreams, I see that town. Silent Hill." The survival horror series developed and published by Konami. Whether looking for a lost daughter or a supposedly dead wife, Silent Hill never ceases to surprise you and drop skinned bodies from the ceiling. To add to the unnerving feeling and urge to turn the lights off, Akira Yamaoka composed a soundtrack of beautiful-- yet chilling-- songs perfect for such a dark game.

Enough of that, though. I came to ask all the basic question-- "What was your favorite game of the series?" "What was your favorite character?" Crap like that.

I must say, Silent Hill 2 would be my favorite game-- save for the protagonist, James Sunderland { face it, he stuck his arm down a toilet. The man's a boob }. Favorite character would be a draw between Pyramid Head and Travis Grady. Both need love. :c
Least favorite game, Silent Hill 4: The Room. Again, Walter Sullivan is an exception. c: But Henry is a blank slate with no personality and a habit of repeating himself more than Harry Mason. SH4 = epic fail if it weren't for Walter.

I have seen all these games played by my girlfriend but have only played myself SH 2. Now I'm playing SH 4 and it's scary! I hate to get killed and those enemies are so nasty ones on 4. So I'm always hoping not to run into some awfull enemies. I said to my gf that I'm never gonna play SH 3, 'cause I think it is the most scary one of them.

My favourite characher is Pyramid Head, he is just so, hmm, cute? I don't like to play this sort of games 'cause I have bad nerves. Pyramid Head is scary with his big sword coming right back at you, but I play these games on easy, so I always get away from him.

I wish I could play all Silent Hills someday, but I think I might have a heart attack before finnishing all of them.

Silent Hill are my games of choice. I <3 them to bits and bits, even the ones that no one else liked. My favourites are Silent Hill 2 and Homecoming. However, I like all of them for some reason or another.

I'm really looking forward to the Wii's release coming soon.
