I've always liked the idea of Vampires being classy and witty minions of evil who seduce you then fest on your blood. What's with the whole "vegetarian vampire" idea Twilight's trying to push? It makes no sense, makes fun of vegetarians, and mangles the idea of vampires even more. And vampires sparkling in the sun?! Last time I checked, they step into the sun they're toast. Twilight is basically a fantasy Meyer wrote out hoping it would make her some sort of money. It was just well marketed and mindless teenage girls drooled over the cliche vampire in love character.

My vegetarian and vegan friends found it ridiculous and a bit insulting. I really meant to say ridiculous, but I couldn't quite find the right word.

Doesn't vegetarian basically mean you don't eat any meat or animal? In twilight don't they use it to mean a vampire that eats animals but not humans? I'm just pointing out reasons I would suspect why. They aren't really vegetarians- thus the title is unfitting.

Ah, didn't think of that. True, but i guess it was more of a comparison in a way. Cuz there's not really a name for what they werent doing. ...Not sure how to explain it.lol
