I'm tempted to re read the series but I know I'll never get past PO3, I kinda like parts of Omen of the stars though.
I like the new prophecy because it's the last time they actually behave like warrior cats, with no stupid powers

I'm more into the special editions tbh

same, whenever i try and read the series i get to the last few books of the new prophecy, and quit (it gets boring). omen of the stars is pretty good in my opinion, but the super editions are the best.

Same! I stopped at Dawn.
Ok don't kill me, but after rereading Power of Three, it actually isn't that bad.

I quit reading Warriors after the second book of Power Of Three, although I did read all of Omen Of The Stars before that (yes, I know, weird). As well as cats having special powers, there were just too many overused ideas like Tigerstar trying to rule the forest, forbidden love, and the tribe needing help from the clans.
I mean, Blue x Oak and Silver x Gray were fantastic, but the later ones like Leaf x Crow, Lion x Heather, and god forbid Dove x Tiger just didn't have the same feel. And Tigerstar was really overused, he should have just died and left it at that.
Anyway, this isn't the place to rant, so I'll cheer up a little. The first Warriors book I ever read was Firestar's Quest and I loved it. I attempted Bluestar's Prophecy although I didn't get all the way through it. Not sure if I want to try again. But I did get through all of Tallstar's Revenge and I liked it mostly because it wasn't an overused plotline and there was some insight into WindClan rather than ThunderClan for a change.

windclan is my favourite clan, but they're treated like they're not even there in the books.

I like Omen of the Stars, only because it actually throws some attention to other clans. Of course, that attention is practically being fed to them by Dovepaw, who I hate tbh.

Alright, so I am newer to this thread and all, but one major NO NO that I noticed about the books (I know that everyone isn't even dicussing this and all but ohh wellll) is that Rusty's owners didn't even go into the woods to find him. (Shallow people. Don't even care if their cats is gone..... At least it doesn't seem like they care to look BEHIND THEIR OWN HOMELAND. Again, thinking much. You think that at least someone would have noticed him gone and not presumed his death... At that rate a human should have at least been noticed near or around the clan....Unless they were but it was somehow irrelevant to the clan.......Ehm. e.e) But overall, I do love this thread. Keep up the good works. Kudos to you all. Have a great day.

Well, when my grandparent's cat disappeared, no one went to look for her because we assumed that she died. Rusty's owners could have assumed the same thing. Or maybe they looked in the wrong places.
