I actually didn't know what traditionalism was until I found this thread xD I don't think it's a very widespread idea within the fandom.
It could just be a lot of little kids on that site who don't want to hear that their Mosspool or Auroraeyes is illogical.
Some names that are strange aren't illogical :3
Would Arctictail make sense? A pure snowy white cat with blue eyes (who is deaf), a long tail, and is very agile. I actually made this cat, and she has a reason to have become a warrior. Though she didn't pick up on moves by being told, she watched closely and never gave up, never knowing that cats thought she'd never be a warrior...
I'm almost positive that Arctictail isn't a 'traditional' name (wth is traditional naming anyway o-e) but it makes sense, if you put together what I described about her. Right?
