I realize it's not straight up yaoi, but still. The undertones, man. It's dripping with gay. It's gayer then I am, I'm ever impressed with that.

Also, Grelle is a girl? So it wouldn't be yaoi with her.

Grell is not female, it was stated several times in the anime that grell is male, and even in the manga xD in te anime when grell was talking about drying mey rin states: "thats true he hadnt been good at drying so far" also if grell was female he would be a maid as there were no female butlers in this time period butlers are male and maids are females

A-ah, no see- Grelle is a trans girl. It's been stated in various things she wants to transition, and that she was born in the wrong body. She asks, I'm not sure if it was in the manga, but in the musical at least to be called a girl. She asks for female pronouns, as well as in this um.. some thing that I think is from an extra in the manga, where she says she's been 'born in the wrong body, God made a mistake' and that she was surgery and everything, because shes serious about it. I could find it for you, if you'd like! I think I have the scan saved somewhere.

Also, I don't.. really consider the anime much of a canon. It kind of exists off as it own thing, and there are many problems with it, and many things they changed? Though I'm.. pretty sure she said she was a lady in the anime, too. Though, I won't swear on that. Besides that, she was faking being a male. There weren't any girl butlers, and if she wanted to kill people with Madame Red she had to b a boy; and so thus she pretended to be one. And even then; in the manga they have cell phones and off-brand nintendo DS', those didn't exist then either.

Thats alright everyone is entitled to there own opions, but ive seen more evidence that grell is male xD so thats my beleif i respect your opion and glad you had alot of back up for it c:

Ah, no SkyHusky; you're right! She was born a boy, but identifies as girl, making her a trans girl. Or otherwise, mtf. Male to female.

I suppose I can't really change anyone's opinion, I've never really been good at explaining. Though, I've never seen evidence she IS a boy. Er... I mean, she has male genitalia, but.. as to how she identifies. The best I can do is offer scans from official character file things, from Grelle's section, where she talks about being a girl and such.

T-They're kinda big files, so if they stretch the page or something; I'm really sorry!! I wasn't sure how small I could resize them, so that the text would still be readable.. @_@

and should respectfully be known as so.

@w@ it.. kind of rubs me the wrong way when people try to say Grelle is a boy. she's one of the only characters in anything, that I can think of off the top of my head, that's trans and.. when people try to erase that, it bothers me..;; even more so when Grelle is one of my favorite characters in kuro.. @_@

i had to go through like 30+ pages of my tumblr kuro tag to find those damn scans, but i'm glad i did!! i feel like they explain better then i do, hah... i kind of feel like i brought the whole um.. fun friendly atmosphere of this forum down a bit, whoopsies..
