I feel like a bit of the odd one out here, as my favourite character is probably Metal Sonic.
I guess it's because the first game I 'played' was Sonic CD.

The first game I played was the original Sonic with my dad...and then Sonic Heroes. And Adventure Battle 2!

Adventure 2 is such a good game. I think that was the game that got me hooked on the series hardcore.
I played the multiplayer with my brother a lot. I still do, when he comes over.

@Mobian: Have you seen the Sonic the Hedgehog movie? I watched it when I was little (with my brother, because he was a big sonic fan and dragged me along for the ride), and I think that's where my main love of Metal Sonic came from. He was pretty cool in that movie.
