You do realize that even though the 6th gen games look 3D, they are still made with sprites that are 2D?

... OK, that made no sense. But anyway, they wouldn't be that difficult to create. Believe me, with Nintendo, money isn't an issue.

I like first gen simply for the nostalgia factor. I grew up with that generation after all. Third used to be my favorite, but 6th is pushing itself up there.

Yellow was my first game which I still own and still saves, I've played blue and red as well. I'm not saying I don't like them because I do! I love all the main series pokemon games. They are just my least favorite.

Now if we are talking game music wise that's a different story...... gen 1 is my favorite overall.

Oh I agree, the gen 1 music totally beats out the music from all the other games! Though the XD and Colosseum games have some pretty good music too.

All I can remember from those games is Miror B's theme. I kind of wish they would put him in a main game. He is such a interesting character, lol. XD

Actually.. money is a issues. It always is. Its not like they have endless spending. They don't have endless money. Trust me. One wrong move could end in ending nintendo. Yes you're right they are a multi million dollar company. But that means they have endless money to spend. I actually don't know from fact but I think they put more money into games and game systems because well.. you have to admit they are pretty dang durable. Most then others. Also may want to take in consideration that it takes time to make a game. 2d= less time less money and probably a cheaper game. 3d= more time more money and probably a little bit more money.. trust me I would loooove 3rd gen remake to be in 3d. But I'm not getting my hopes up. They do think about their customers. But they need to think about their company as well. It also could be the global economy to decide what it will be like. If its good then they may make a 3d verson. If its bad it may be 2d. All I'm saying don't get your hopes up. It could go either way.

Pokemon Y is too easy...

I've had the game for only 5 days, and I've gotten my 7th badge and captured Xerneas.

But maybe thats because I play it a lot.

I've been getting surprisingly good pokemon through Wonder Trading...I got a lvl1 Froakie, a lvl30 Charmeleon, a lvl1 Torchic, a lvl32 Lucario, a lvl1 Bulbasaur and a lvl50 Zoroark, and some other pokemon too like a Growlithe

The only things 3D is the battles, the overworld is in 2D. The could just reuse the 3D stuff they would only have to remake the overworld.

Soul silver/heart gold leaf green/fire red sold well..... I don't see how it would be any different from making a new region. It would actually be cheaper to make to because they wouldn't have to pay people to come up with new pokemon designs or plot. XD

Well they still pay to make it.. and ya maybe your right maybe most of it would be 2d like black and white but have 3d feature. Honestly right now it probably all depends on the cost of making pokemon z and the time.. and the economy as well. But really I'm sure what ever they chose it will have a really big turn out. I mean is 3rd. A very popular generation.
