I believe it was intentional becuase they can get away with it. ever notice that delphox holds a wand o.o it's stick is wand of wood O.o essentialy that starter is fox wizard or a wizard fox XD

I disagree- Pokémon is nothing like Digimon. There are similarities, yes, but they're no where near the same. Not to mention Pokémon came first.

Actually, I thought Sylveon would be a flying or bug type...

Pokémon came out in the mid 1990's and the first two games were for the Game Boy. Pokémon became a card game after it's popularity grew.

Also, Pokémon is NOT modeled after Digimon because, as I stated in my last post, Pokémon came out before Digimon.
