I wish I could play the demo. On the bright side, today in my speech class we did a socializing exercise and I found out the guy who sits next to me is getting pokemon Y! He also brings his 3DS with him -We street passed each other- so double yay because that means I'm going to get at least two street pass tags for my game, one from him and one from my step brother.

I live in a rural place as well, I just as you said was lucky.

He actually hasn't played a pokemon game since gen 3 so I doubt we talk much about pokemon. My step bro is a pokenerd though. We talk about it and play our games when I see him, which isn't often so yeah I'm about the same.

Me and a male friend of mine are just about the only Pokemon players in my grade that I know. He's getting Y too. We talk about a lot of random stuff, and he was almost pushed into giving me a hug after school today. O.o
Thankfully my bus showed up before he had too. XP

I have my whiney little brother who refuses to battle me because I win most of the time, and makes ridiculous trade deals. (He wanted my Lv.100 Japanese Garchomp for his Lv.23 Karrablast...)

Speaking of Japan, our English teacher told us we could apply for a pen pal from an all boys school in Japan by writing her a letter stating why we would be a good pen pal. *Is super excited*
