So, I was talking to some friends today, and they brought up the subject what if Jason never got hit by the car. Then the entire game would not happen in their opinion. Then we started talking about what would happen to the characters if the Origami Killer never existed.

What do you all think? I would like to hear how you think the story would go.

My friends don't even know what Heavy Rain is...

If Jason didn't get hit by a car, the Origami Killer still would have existed. The important character really is the Origami Killer because he is the only reason the game was made. If the Origami Killer wasn't there, that's when the whole plot changes.

Yes, but how would the story go? :3 Like, if Ethan didn't have to worry about any O.K., what would he be doing? Norman? Madison?

Anything, really. Just doing their ordinary lives I guess. There isn't really a way to tell. Of course they woulnd't have to go through everything they went through in the story. Like Ethan wouldn't have to have worry about Shaun as much if the Origami Killer wasn't there. If Jason was still there, everything would be happy-happy joy-joy again.

Here's my brother's theory....

Ethan is still with Grace. He goes to the phycologist to vent about his depression. ( Didn't really see the connection there, but alright. )

He meets Madison there at the same phycologist for her Insomnia. They fall in love...still. Ethan divorces Grace ( saying they were doomed from the start) and marries Madison.

Norman, being intrigued by the case, decides to write a book about tracking down and the phycology that goes along with being a Criminal Profiler. There he meets Blake...who he falls in love with.

( I just think he does this whole Blayden thing to mess with my mind! Because he knows I like Madison x Norman. )

The O.K. would be caught and shot.
