Well, Scar was a Pridelander and yet, he was skinny. That's what my mom pointed out to be after The Lion King on Broadway.

Was he a Pridelander? Or was he more of an outcast of the pride?

I think its more to do with genetics then food because Scar was part of the pride and he was a Prince they wouldn't let a prince go hungry

That's what I was thinking, because of his line, "As far as brains go, I've got the lion's share, but when it comes to brute strength...I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool."

And he was a prince until Simba was born!

Well, as you said, back to Kovu, he does have a pride lander build. So, it would make sense if his dad was a Pridelander.

But, I think Vitani is not Nala's cub. I guess people think that because of the Broadway show maybe?

Yeah with the madness of king scar thing also if vitani was not ziras scar would have cheated on her with nala as he would already have nuka with zira

And I guess it could be genetics the build of outlanders

Well, I think that Scar and Nala never mated together, Scar just wanted her as his queen.

He exiled her for refusing to be his queen so I doubt she would have ever mated with him

From what I could tell, Scar didn't banish her, she just decided to leave to go for help/food. And then she found Simba! A match made in paradise, huh? <3 I've always loved when best friends fall in love in books and movie and stuff...I have The Lion King to blame for that!

In the deleted scene scar banishes her and orders the other lionesses to get rid of her
