The conversations my family has at dinner....

Li' sis: I had a dream where a giant red spider climbed up on your bed and was trying to eat you. Then you started screaming and saying Run, Quickly Run-

Me: and then I used my bow and sword and fought the spider

Lil' sis: Yes!

Me: and then I rode on horseback into the sunset with Hawkeye and Legolas

Mom: and then your father took his rifle and shot them for riding off into the sunset with his daughter.

Me: Hawkeye has super awesome armor, so he didn't get hurt. And Legolas is an elf, so bullets don't apply to him

Dad: I have special bullets.

I like your family. The only thing most of my family has in common that we like is Doctor Who [everyone but my mom] and...something.

What I have in common in my family, is the love for reading and writing. That's pretty much it... well, not including my brother. I have almost everything in common with him (which actually starts arguments when we unexpectedly find something we are different in. I know this sounds immature, but really, he's always the one who starts them).
Unfortunately, my mom and I also both deal with anxiety and depression. That's not really a good thing we have in common, though.

My dad just feeds me and my sisters insanity.

My family is all insane, and we all have at least one mental disorder. (I have OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I'm pretty sure I have the most.) My mom and younger sister are super feminine and soft and gentle and...yep. I'm rougher and so is my youngest sister; we take after our dad. My dad likes LotR and I'm training my youngest sister to. She's only five, but it's just a matter of time before she reads the books...she throws fits when I'm watching the movies because she isn't aloud to. I take that as a very good sign.

Thats how my 8 year old brother acted, and he loves LOTR now. It may be a good sign. My sister has OCD. I just don't like face to face interaction with people. If I can avoid it, I will. But if I have no other choice.....*shrugs* And we all love LOTR

I don't like explaining my family too much. It's hardly even a family for several reasons which makes it difficult.
