(Okay so I started on that elf picture and it was going okay but I stopped because I made a huge mistake -_-)

What kind of mistake? I'm sure it looks fine. ^^

I'm confused. If Tolkien pronounced 'Took' like 'Tuck' and in the movie they pronounce 'Took' so it rhymes with 'Duke', than I'm assuming it should be pronounced the way Tolkien intended. I don't want to sound like an idiot, saying it how it's supposed to be said though, since people most likely read it like it's said in the movie. Still, Took (rhyming with duke) sounds really funny to me for some reason.
I want to pronounce it like "I took the candy." but that would be incorrect both ways.

I do this thing called Battle of the Books where you answer specific questions about a list of 12-18 books. Today duuring practicewe got a question that went "In which book do characters use hoods for both camoflauge and protection from the sun?". Both my teammate and I were thinking TTT, though that book wasn't even on the list! Our coach and other team member looked at us like 'nerds!'

Today at an after school nerdy thing, my friend Ylime* joked that our friend Sam is a perfect hobbit(Besides the fact that he is tall) So he officially became our resident Samwise Gamgee. He even dressed up as a hobbit at school one day.....

Yeah. I was a little surprised. It was a the day after he had seen The Hobbit and so he decided to dress up. It was pretty convincing.
And yeah, it's allowed. I wore a trench coat to school and had not problems with that.
