Our library has quite a lot of the books mentioned on this thread and also we share books around the class. Which is nice because it saves money. :)
I love to draw in anime style!

Anybody read The Immortals series by Alyson Noel? I've only read Evermore, but I want the others for Christmas.

I have, but it's an odd topic to get your head around, I'll have to re-read the first three before I go any further.

Cool! I'm reading the third book in Protector of the Small, I read the Song of the Lioness and the Immortals quartets, they are the first quartets that are set in Tortall. To anyone who likes fantasy books, these are really really good! The first quartet (Song of the Lioness) Is about a girl who pretends to be a boy to become a knight. She has the Gift, which is a magical gift that is common, about 1 of 4 people have it. The second quartet is about a girl who has a very rare sort of Gift called Wildmagic. She can talk to animals and stuff. Really cool!

i think almost any girl who like fanasty likes tamora pierce, she writes some of the best books with heroines

I don't know, none of my friends even know the author as far as I know. I think it's really too bad that her books aren't as popular as books like Inkheart or Artemis Fowl, because I think they are as good or better. But hey, that's just my opinion. Has anyone read 'The Last Book in the World?" That's what we are reading for English this year, but I've never heard of it before.

I agree. Tamora Pierce is amazing. I'm sad I just found her. I have been chomping on Ally's adventure. (Trickster's choice and Tricksetr's Queen.) I hope to soon be able to write as good as her.

We're reading "The Curious Incident of The Dog In the Nighttime" in class. Long title, lawl. It swears a lot and all, but it's really good. :D
