Ok I have a question.

Am I the only one who doesn't like "hetalia"?

I hate how the characters are named after countries.
I can't stand it and I feel like everyone else is going crazy over it.

Like homestuck.

*shrugs* I was never really a fan of it myself. I skimmed a few of the webcomics, didn't like it. As for comics/stories with countries represented by countries, I much prefer Scandanavia and the World. Nothing but humor there!

The comic/anime itself is alright, but the fandom is downright terrifying D: Hetalia has the most rabid fans I've ever come across, seriously.That alone is enough to put me off from the series.

I have a friend who really likes Hetalia and she made me watch an episode with her one time, and I just didn't see the appeal.

I made myself read most of Homestuck one time, when I was dating someone who liked it, and the only thing I ever liked about it was one pairing. I really can't stand it now, like Hetalia, because of the fanbases.

I enjoy homestuck, but in a different way than a majority of the fandom does I'm sure.
While Hetalia, I watched an episode and a half. I wanted to give it a try, sounded like my kind of series. Honestly, I was disappointed with what I say. I love comedy. And I love history. But, Hetalia was just kind of... dumb.

To be entirely honest, the only thing I know about it is that the characters are named after countries. I don't really see an appeal in any anime or manga, so I probably wouldn't like it.

When the question is "am I the only one who..." the answer is likely no, you are not the only one. It is very rare to be the only one ever who does or doesn't like specific things.

Also not sure if this belongs in 18+, since there's not really much to discuss here. I'd suggest starting a club, but anti-clubs aren't allowed.
