Hi, I'm iSing and I love to read. I know what it's like to be at the book store or library and not know whether or not I will like a certain book I'm looking at. My new topic on book reviews will help you avoid these situations. All you have to do is check here before you leave so you can have a good idea of the book you want.

I will try to write a new book review once every week!
If you have questions, comments, concerns, or book review suggestions, PM me!

♦ The Grimm Legacy ♦

I picked this book off the shelf at my school book fair, assuming it would be like any other fantasy book. Geez, was I wrong. The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman intertwines reality with fantasy. When Elizabeth, your regular old 'new girl' starts working as a page at the New York Circulating Material Repository, a lending library of objects, she discovers things really aren't as they seem. In the basement of the repository is the secret, mysterious Grimm Collection, an assortment of real magical objects from the Grimm Brother's fairytales, like a mermaid's comb, a magic mirror, and seven league boots. However, objects begin disappearing and winding up somewhere else. Suddenly Elizabeth and her newfound friends are dragged into a dangerous adventure that may risk their lives! I would rate this book four and a half stars because I couldn't put it down, but at some parts I wasn't as eager to read (although very few times). This book is perfect for peopole who like fantasy books and reality books.

I just finished the Trylle series. It was verry good. It was a trilogy and even though each book was 250+ pages you read it soo fast. I probably finished one of the books in a week.

^^ That one is good and also Drought. Very interesting and I think other people would enjoy it too.

I would prefer the book Out Of My Mind. It's just one book so far, but I enjoy it a lot. It's awesome for kids with disabilities.

• Maximum Ride: The Angel Expirement •

I saw this book in the library in the beginning of the school year and just grabbed it because I was running out of time to pick. Since I had no other book sto read, I began reading this one even though I wasn't posotive I would like it. I got hooked right when I started the first chapter. The first two sentences reeled me in: 'The funny thing about facing imminent death is that it really snaps everything else into perspective. Take right now, for instance.' Of course, I had to read os. I had to know what and why this person was facing imminent death. This book is about mutant humans. Their DNA is both human and avian. Therefore, they have air sacs in their body, thin bones, sharp sight, fast healing, higher immunity, and, oh yeah, wings. They escaped from the School where they were tested. The School makes many mutants like themselves and is like a huge lab. There are also Erasers, which are half human and half wolf. Erasers look like super models but can morph into wolves at any moment, They only live about 5 or 6 years. Maximum Ride (or 'Max'), Fang, Iggy (who is blind), Nudge, The Gasman (or 'Gazzy' for short), and Angel live with Jeb in a large house. Somewhere between their house being attacked by Erasers, Jeb disappearing, discovering Max's destiny is to save the world, and struggling to survive, they find themselves tangled in an absurd adventure. Humorous, action-packed, and a great read!

I really like The Secret Series. It's a five book series and it's a great mystery.
