I recall Megatron saying something about the synthetic energon along the lines of 'imagine what it can do for our troops'. I really don't think he'd let it go, more likely the writers don't want to give the Decepticons another edge against the Autobots.

Which sucks big time.The Decepticons should have an edge over the Autobots.The producers probably comepletely forgot about the synthetic energon...a disposed idea in the bucket of trash.

Hmmm probably. One can hardly count the vastness of the Decepticon army as an edge over the Autobots, since they seem to do so well in scrapping every drone they come across. Oh I really hope we get to see Shockwave kill someone. Bonus points if it's Ultra Magnus, but anyone will do. Even the humans...I imagine he wouldn't say no to dissecting a few of the Autobot's little pets. I know I wouldn't :v

I wouldn't mind Ultra Magnus dying...I never wanted him in the show anyway...He's too tall. Maybe it's Arcee's turn.Tailgate,Cliffjumper, now it's her turn

Ha, no I wouldn't choose Arcee. She'd probably see her death as 'finally'. Kill off everyone she cares about first, then she'll come asking for death.

Hmmm I'd rather see Jack killed in front of her. Then she can threaten and cry and yell all she likes but she just ends up getting torn apart.

A slight problem? More like a significant problem. If it can't kill an Autobot on its debut, then it's not worth fearing. Better using something that's smaller and quicker...or just manufacture a little plague/virus bomb to drop on known Autobot hideouts....cosmic rust, maybe. Ratchet has no supplies that we know of, so he'd be useless.
The disease/virus thing that was in MTMTE would be wonderfully useful, once infected, it's triggered by transformation. The autobots would be more or less useless without using their alt modes, so they'd all perish fairly quick. Oh, one can only dream of the Autobots finally dying...
