Some people neglect to realize that Decepticons won't spare you just because you like them...I'd at least try to appeal to them, hope that I can offer something in exchange for being allowed to stay alive among them, but I would expect death at any time that I start to fail to be useful.

Thank you! People with sense. If they want to be all frolicky and lovely around a cybertronian then they should go bug the Autobots. Of course I'm not really married to Blitzwing. Hell, I don't want to be married at all. I'd much rather just spend time with him as a some-what friend rather than to really care about love and stuff. I would expect him to kill me anytime though. Although it does say Icy is a restraint so maybe theres some hope Random wont kill me with a spork xD.

I just don't like any of the Autobots...their nature doesn't really appeal to me at all. Maybe I'd hang around them for a while, learn all I can and then 'jump ship' and give the Decepticons any and all information in exchange for me being allowed to live...I'd quite like to hang around Shockwave, throw ideas past him and ask if it's possible for me to be of more use, whether it's worth the effort to try and transfer human consciousness to a Cybertronian body.

I think one thing that people need to remember when it comes to Autobots and Decepticons is that they're fighting a civil war. They basically want the same thing, but they've got very very different moral standards. There is no black and white in civil war, only shades of gray.
Which is why I'm experimenting a lot with my OC's- a lot of them were originally with the Decepticons, but defected because of their sometimes brutal methods, and then defected to neutral because the Autobots are simply too weak. I'm not really a fan of how the Autobots are run- why should they care about humans, a species that has wiped out hundreds of other species for their own benefit? So I guess my stand is equal with Sidewinder, as he's often told me, "We're staying to try and keep what happened to our planet from happening you yours- after all, it was our mistake and we should try to fix it. We won't stick around long once that threat is gone. And if we can't eliminate it, we're also gone."

Okay, this is turning into a morals essay. Well, let's dive into the movies. Megatron in the first one says "Is the survival of our race not worth a single human life?" Obviously,, to Optimus, it's not, just look at what he does- he completely destroys their easiest shot at life in that universe. I'll skip over Revenge of the Fallen, since that one was just... whaa?. But on to Dark of the Moon. Sentinel finds a way to bring Cyberton back. Their home. And Optimus stops him again, thus dooming their race even further. That's not compassion to a lesser race. That's just poor leadership choices.

I'll maybe continue this sometime later- there's way more points in Prime.

Oh! But good new on Sidewinder's alt-mode! We got it running again, and now I can start it with no hands... like a Boss! Th ignition switch died, so we put in a push button start. The F150 lives on!

yeah!!! and sadie remember Optimus would not be willing to let earth be destroyed just to save there planet he would want to find another way sentinel wanted to enslave humans with goes agains optimus' quote in the first movie "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." Personally i would willing give up earths resources to save cybertron sadly i don't think the majority of the human race would agree with me and i think Optimus new that so he choose to fight for earth to save the human race then save his own dying planet with even with all the energy taken from earth might not have survived.

I guess Decepticon morales appeal to my true nature. Not many of them give a damn about others, they only look out for themselves, though that is often their downfall because they take on enemies alone rather than working as a unit...but I quite like the idea of brutally interrogating the enemy, or humiliating/torturing/dissecting them. Upon meeting me, you wouldn't think I'm like that. I appear to be very calm, kind and possibly even caring, but give me the opportunity and I am a terrible person. Autobots are just too merciful. Can't stand them. And I would find it difficult to trust OP. He keeps a lot from everyone, whereas with most Decepticons, their hatred and all that is out there. Hardly any secrecy, you can trust that some of them will try to stab you in the back or leave you for dead.
