Wherever I Go by Miley Cyrus gets me tearing up nowadays. It’s a very heartfelt and emotional song, and I really relate to the lyrics now that I’m nearing the end of high school. The lyrics perfectly describe how I feel about having to part with my closest friends.

bodyache makes me cry because I listened to it a lot during a time where I thought I was going to lose the love of my life for something silly I did

slow dancing in the dark makes me cry because it reminds me just how foolishly unselfishly in love I am, and how if my person did leave, I wouldn't stubbornly hold on. I'd likely still want to have a way of communication and closeness with them, even if I couldn't have it

happy didn't make me cry until recently. I know it's a song meant for finding happiness within yourself, but the line "found a life worth living for somebody else" just gets me every time because A. her voice is magnificent and the way she sings it is so romantic and smooth, and B. I feel exactly that. I've found a life worth living to better myself for the other person. to be their ideal just as they are mine. it makes me cry because I feel truly happy

song of the sea (lullaby) from the movie + light by sleeping at last

i connect light to various characters i love + makes me remember how the internet, all fandoms and its artist's were back in 2013-2016 and long for those memories again.

song of the sea is a important song for me as i remember watching it with my cousins the last time they had came to my house from out of state some years ago. i love the movie and anytime i'm in physical pain i listen to it and it comforts me throughout it.
